Moving out

Here you’ll find the most important things to consider before moving out — to ensure everything goes smoothly and the premises are left in good condition. Once you’ve given notice and received confirmation from us, there are a few things to keep in mind to make the process easier.

Before moving out, we ask that you leave the premises thoroughly cleaned. This means floors should be properly treated (for example, waxed if required), and windows and glass surfaces cleaned.

If you have installed signs, awnings, blinds, antennas, fixed installations, alarms, or other equipment, you are responsible for removing these upon moving out, unless otherwise agreed with us. Also, remember to repair any damage caused by the installation.

If you have paid for and installed fixtures or equipment in the premises, you must take these with you when moving out and repair any damage that may occur when removing them. Some items that have become part of the property may need to be left behind — if so, we will inform you, and this will be without extra cost.

Before you leave, we will conduct a joint inspection, no later than the day of your move-out. This is a good opportunity to review the condition of the premises together. At that time, you will also return all keys, access tags, mailbox keys, or anything else you have received from us.
