Parking and engine heaters

There are plenty of parking spaces around our properties, most of which are free to use. However, some areas have restrictions, so be sure to follow the posted signs to avoid parking fines. Several of the parking spots are equipped with engine heater outlets, which can be rented for a fee during the fall and winter seasons. To use the engine heater, you need to sign up and specify your desired location and company.

Parking in designated areas on our properties is free of charge. A large number of our parking spaces are also equipped with numbered engine heater outlets that can be rented for a fee.

If you choose to sign up for an engine heater during the fall and winter season, the numbering system works by entering the number into our engine heater system along with your personal code, which you will receive upon registration. Regardless of the area you wish to park in, when you sign up for an engine heater, you will receive information about where parking and engine heater outlets are available.

Instructions for engine heaters

Park in a spot with an engine heater outlet and note the number of the space, for example: 123. Go to the Engine Heaterpage and select the area where you parked.

The engine heater starts in time before your planned departure and continues for a while afterward. The duration depends on the outdoor temperature—the colder it is, the longer it runs.

The engine heater system is temperature-controlled, meaning the colder it is outside, the earlier the outlet activates. All to ensure your car is warm when you need it.

The maximum runtime is four hours plus a 30-minute delay period.

Missing your code?

All companies renting premises from us with access to engine-heated parking spots can sign a contract for engine heater use. Contact your employer or email us at info@pnf.se. Once the agreement is signed, you’ll receive your personal code.

Car not warm despite setting the engine heater?

First, check the following:

• Did you enter the correct spot number?
• Did you set the correct departure time?
• What is the output of your interior heater?

The maximum allowed power output for interior heaters is 1,000 W. If your heater has a low/high setting, choose low. If the power draw is too high, the automatic circuit breaker will trip and cut the power supply.
