Whistleblower function

We are committed to fostering a secure, ethical, and transparent workplace. As part of this commitment, we refer to the Municipality of Piteå’s whistleblower function, which enables the reporting of suspected serious misconduct of public interest within the municipality’s operations.

The company strives to uphold high ethical standards and comply with applicable legislation, internal policies, and best practices. In cases where there is suspicion of serious irregularities within the municipality – such as bribery, fraud, conflicts of interest, unauthorized secondary employment, legal violations, or other serious misconduct – individuals are encouraged to use the whistleblower function.

This function is specifically intended for matters involving senior executives, key personnel, or elected officials, as well as situations where someone may have gained undue advantage from their position or improperly favored a close associate.

By providing this channel, we aim to promote a culture of openness and accountability. All reports are handled with strict confidentiality, and the anonymity of the whistleblower is fully respected.
